Hi, I'm Denise!

My career began back in 1993 while in College for Kinesology,  my mom asked me to take a course in Massage Therapy and teach her how to give a head massage. While learning the basics of a full body relaxation massage I discovered I had a hidden talent to feel the vibration of tissues, and intuitively know how to to release them. I quickly began treating friends and family, finished my program in Kinesiology and moved into Massage Therapy School. I studded at Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto, where I received my 3200 hour Diploma, and quickly moved on to completing my Diploma Of Manual Osteopathic DOMP. My career began with experience at the University of Toronto athletic Department, and Lyndhurts Hospital for spinal cord injuries.

It wasn't long before I was managing a multidisciplinary pain relief clinic, and treating clients, applying every new research I could find on chronic pain. Fast forward 30 years, and 6000 hours of advanced training, I came to discover the NeruoRevive principles that I continue to follow today. I am not only the founder of the technique but a patient as well. I too had chronic pain! Due to a surgery that left my with no functioning pectorals muscles, breast cancer and an autoimmune disorder, I sought out a healing journey that has led me to helping others.

The highlights of my career was in both teaching and learning. The list of additional education varies from: in-depth science and treatment of  Low Level Laser Therapy, Radial Shockwave, Grastin, Athletic taping, Bowen, Reiki Master, Chi Energy, Rekinetics, Ultrasound and Tens, Advanced Lymphatics, Advanced Myofasical, Dry Needling, Cupping, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Cranial Sacral, Visceral Manipulation and Matrix Repattering. I spent endless hours understanding BioTensegrity, Neuroplasticity, Epigenetics, and combined all my knowledge to define chronic pain and develop a set of guiding principles for healing the body, and called it NeuroRevive.  My personal journey in life only helped guide me to these discoveries; I healed myself from a childhood illness of Chron's disease, and overcame adult dual diagnosis of breast cancer, including 9 surgeries and chemotherapy. It became very clear to me that in order to heal myself, it wasn't going to be easy; mentally, spiritually, or physically.

I too had to heal myself from the inside out. I understand your journey as both a patient and therapist, and have dedicated my life to personal growth, healing, and teaching.

I keep myself very busy these days, balancing teaching in Calgary ERP College in the Massage Therapy department, treating clients, mentoring new therapists, teaching and continuously upgrading the NeuroRevive Technique. I can been seen daily walking my 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks along the many paths in Calgary Alberta.
